Message (No error message. Lengthy delay of perhaps 90 seconds.)
Notes If some DOS commands fail to respond for a long time, then continue normally, you may have mapped a drive to another computer that is down. Type "net use", wait a minute or so, and when it responds, look for a drive with the Status marked "Disconnected". Use ping and tracert to see if you can get to the computer named in the "Remote" column. The delay can occur even though the command is not trying to use that drive, nor is that drive in your PATH. Try "net use __ /delete" where __ is the drive letter of the Disconnected server in the "Local" column. This will also take perhaps 90 seconds to finish, but then your other commands should run faster. Of course, anything that tries to use that drive won't work until the other computer comes back up and you reconnect the drive.
