| Notes | The task bar may have disappeared because Windows NT Explorer crashed. To restart Explorer, press Control-Alt-Delete and choose Task List from the dialog box that appears. From the Windows NT Task Manager program, choose File, New Task (Run). Start C:\WINNT\explorer.exe or choose Browse if your copy of explorer.exe is in another directory. Note that restarting Explorer will also restart the programs in your Startup folder, so you might consider rebooting instead if you don't want to start additional copies of these programs. |
